Angela has 15 years of experience regarding investment management, real estate and securities, including as REIT portfolio manager and head of the REIT research team at Deutsche Bank Realty Advisors Inc., New York, in the late 1990s.
She has also been responsible for the rating of global alternative investments (private equity, SRI, hedge, real estate and REIT funds) and for institutional product development at Allianz Global Investors Advisory GmbH, Munich, until 2005. Angela Haupt (then named Angela Grossmann) co-founded MRAG Projekt GmbH & Co KG in 2003.
Today Angela specialises in linking real estate and capital markets for German operators and international investors. As a Managing Partner at MRAG she is responsible for Advisory and Business Development.
Her comprehensive experience regarding real estate capital markets and REIT portfolio management make her a popular contact for the media. Angela provides know-how in her workshops.As a regular speaker at conferences she contributes to further the emerging market of real estate equities in Germany. In her column “Haupt-Sachen” featured on online REIT information portal www.REITs-in-Deutschland.de she comments on current issues and fundamental questions regarding Real Estate Investment Trusts.
